Workshop by The Co-Promotion Club:

Building a Strong Referral Network

“Say, Marge, I’d love to make my ambrosia salad for the potluck…

but I’m staying focused on building my referral network.”

In a world of shifting algorithms and online visibility, a strong referral network is a valuable, reliable asset to your business.

But it’s daunting to build; relationships take time, intention, generosity, and persistence.

In this 60-minute workshop, we’ll explore the true value that a healthy referral network holds for you (it’s far more than referrals!).

We’ll talk about how to use a first coffee chat to identify partnership potential, and we’ll identify the steps you can take to grow those coffee chat connections into strong, functioning referral partnerships.

Come prepared to share your own insights, as well, so we can learn from each other.

Wednesday, Nov 12th

1pm Eastern // 10am Pacific // 6pm WET

Cost: free

You’ll leave with a clear picture of:

  • What makes a strong referral partner network worth more than referrals

  • Why so many potential partnerships never materialize

  • How to identify referral partner potential in a first coffee chat

  • The specific steps that take a connection from coffee chat to functioning referral partnership

A woman sits on a set of stairs, leaning forward with her arm on one knee. She has shoulder-length brown hair and blue eyes, and wears a gray t-shirt and black jeans. She has a tattoo covering one arm.

Leading the workshop:

Janna has more than 25 years of experience in running her own businesses: first in music education, then in design, now in running a membership. She’s learned the art of building a supportive network from creating her own, from scratch, several times over.

Janna is originally from the U.S. and currently lives with her partner and two loud tuxedo cats on the Silver Coast of Portugal.
