When you join The Co-Promotion Club

you’re invited into three spaces that will help you begin making the connections that matter to your business:

1. Monthly groups

Our facilitated, monthly groups are the core of The Co-Promotion Club experience.

Each month, you’re matched with around 5 other members to meet for an hour where we:

  1. Have a round of brief introductions

  2. Share a specific aspect of our businesses based on our current focus

  3. Make a request for support that’s not related to leads.

Sharing a specific aspect of our business offers a deeper understanding of what makes us unique and referrable to clients.

Requests for support allow us to invest in each other in simple, easy ways that establish goodwill and kickstart relationships.

After attending several monthly groups, you’ll start to see familiar faces. After a few months, you’ll be attending groups with several people you know and trust while also making new connections. This makes the experience even more introvert-friendly and comfortable over time.

This unique group setting is the Co-Pro Club magic.

It’s comfortable for introverts and extroverts, and each month it feels like you’re hanging out with friends while gaining visibility and powerful allies for your business.

2. Support requests board

This is a virtual bulletin board where we share our monthly support requests. Each member has their own card, and other members can contribute to each other’s cards through comments and conversation.

As independent, thriving business owners, it can be surprisingly difficult to ask for support. This is a great way to allow others to invest in your success, and helps you feel less alone in your journey.

3. The Co-Pro Slack

Our Slack group is the place to ask for in-the-moment support, promote something you’re launching, or reach out to connect with another member.

There’s no pressure to engage in the Slack group, but when you do, people start to recognize your name. It’s also a place where members post requests for a referral, so occasionally it’s also good for your pipeline.

Everything inside The Co-Promotion Club is designed to make connection and support simple and efficient.

You have SO many demands on your time! The Co-Pro Club involves an hour each month to attend your group, and around 15-20 minutes per week to support other members.

Co-Pro Club FAQs

  • We are here for agency owners, consultants, freelancers, and fractionals who are searching for a place to build a deeper, intentional network. Members are experienced in their fields and already have a [mostly] established client base.

Members are interested in learning from each other, finding and sharing quality referrals, and generously supporting each other.

  • Yes! Janna, our group facilitator (and founder of The Co-Pro Club), is a semi-introvert who ensures that each group is comfortable and welcoming for everyone.

“The Co-Promotion Club has been so great for me! I am an introvert at my core, and having the smaller groups has allowed me to feel more comfortable talking about myself and my business while forming genuine connections!”

–Chrissy Rothwell, founder, Enchanted Spark Marketing

“The Co-Promotion Club has been an excellent, low pressure environment to connect with other small business owners and like-minded individuals. As an introvert, the small setting and pre-call ‘what to expect’ emails have been perfect! I have made great connections and feel like my successes/struggles/questions have all been heard and appreciated.”

  • Nope! The focus of our groups is shared in advance each month - and, in fact, you’re asked to spend a few minutes preparing in advance.

  • Groups occur on Mondays or Tuesdays at 11:30am or 1pm Eastern. Each month, you’re able to which indicate which groups work with your schedule.

  • We ask that you make a high priority of attending Co-Pro Club groups to respect the time of fellow members (though we understand if life throws a curveball and you can’t make it one month).

We ask that you show up to your group prepared for that month’s topic. This only takes a few minutes of preparation and is important to feeling confident in your group.

We also ask that you prioritize supporting fellow members. We keep this low-lift (we’re all extremely busy) and make it easy to know exactly what kind of support is helpful.

It’s good to note that this is not a join-it-and-forget-it membership. If this isn’t the right season to invest 2 hours a month or so (group attendance + supporting other members), we’d love to meet you in a future season.

  • Not every connection will be directly relevant to your business, but you’ll likely find sources of support that surprise you. People who may not be directly related to your business might know JUST the person you need to speak with and are happy to connect you - or know of the exact resource you’re looking for.

The Co-Promotion Club is about showing up ready to invest in the success of each other, and this happens in a delightful variety of ways.

  • Most networking groups focus on leads, referrals, and return on your investment. That’s not us.

While we do ultimately hope to send you referrals, we’re here to support you in a range of ways - many of which can’t be quantified in a dollar amount.

Relationships and trust take time, so if referrals are your ultimate goal, it’s recommended that you plan to remain in The Co-Pro Club for at least a year and consistently invest in other members.

  • No, it won’t. Prior to the end of your membership term, you’ll receive an email with an invitation to continue your membership. You won’t be billed again without your consent.
