The Networking Lab

Better conversations. Stronger connections. Intentional follow-up.

You’ve probably forced yourself to attend networking events to meet new referral partners.

You arrive in the Zoom room, sweatpants on and favorite beverage in hand, DETERMINED to connect and talk about your work until your face aches from smiling.

An hour later, you log off, slump in your chair, look at your scribbled list of names and 27 open LinkedIn tabs, and feel zero motivation to do anything more.

You wonder:

“Why did it feel so hard to talk about my work?

Why did it feel impossible to be seen?

And, also, how can I make myself more invisible next time???”

(this is me, as an introvert)

You try anyway.

You follow a bunch of people on LinkedIn, have a coffee chat or two, and that’s often where it ends.

It’s unlikely that referrals will happen, because trust has not been built.

Why doesn’t networking feel like it serves YOU?

Why does it feel so hard?

Why doesn’t networking lead to referral partnerships?

It’s for a simple reason:

Networking without a strategy or a follow-up plan creates a shallow, limited experience.

– Meeting people doesn’t equal meeting the RIGHT people.

– Meeting the right people doesn’t equal quality follow-up.

If you’re an introvert, this is even harder! If you don’t feel confident entering a networking space, it’s hard to relax enough to really listen or ask good followup questions. (ask me how I know)

Whatever your social energy, The Networking Lab is for you.

The Networking Lab

is a 60-minute, hands-on session for online service providers who want to bring more purpose to their networking.

You will:

  • Create a simple networking strategy

  • Use guided prompts to comfortably network with potential referral partners

  • Leave with a follow-up plan that helps you begin real relationships.

You don’t just collect names and hope something happens afterward.

You’ll create an effective networking approach you can use on repeat.

Like all of our events, this session is introvert-friendly.

And you’ll receive an email outlining exactly what to expect and bring to The Networking Lab, so you feel confident from start to end.
