A supportive network
that co-promotes and co-refers you.
How do you expand your network with intention?
As an experienced business owner, you know the value of a supportive referral network - and the challenge of building it.
Communities can provide connection - but require a lot of time to find your people.
Networking groups can be a stepping stone to referral partnerships, but can also leave you drained with little to show for it.
Coffee chats can be a useful tool, but even a great connection requires strategic followup and time to create a meaningful relationship.
Feeling the need for something that WORKS?
Meet The Co-Promotion Club.
We’re not [exactly] a community
This is a small group of experienced agency owners, consultants, fractionals, and freelancers who own thriving businesses in the B2B space.
We’re busy; we value meeting the right people in the right season.
Co-promotion is a priority. We understand that building strong partnerships requires investing in each other’s success.
We’re patient. Our connections become referral partnerships over time, and we’re willing to consistently support each other while we build trust.
We’re not your [typical] networking group
You won’t find quotas to meet or awkward speed networking here.
Relationships and networking are human connections to us, not transactional opportunities.
We want to make money in a way that aligns with our people-first values.
We are serious about seeing you succeed, so we’ll get to know you, co-promote with you, and sing your praises to all of our people.
We’re not [all] extroverts
Running a successful business doesn’t mean having endless social energy.
Many of us are most comfortable in small, intimate groups where we know at least some of the people there.
We like to show up prepared rather than being asked to wing it in front of people.
You’ll find space for both quiet and conversation. We value your voice, even if you don’t speak up all the time.
We are your trusted circle of referral partners, co-promoters, supporters, resource-sharers, and thought partners.
We’ll probably also become friends.
Who’s behind The Co-Pro Club?
After several years of trying - and failing - to grow her design business using standard marketing methods, Co-Pro Club founder Janna Carlson walked away from all of them.
She left behind social media, blogging, podcasting, and newsletters. Instead, she doubled down on building her own referral network.
During that process, Janna realized that comfortable, values-driven, people-first networking spaces were harder to find than great tacos in Portugal (don’t worry, the wine + fresh seafood are just fine).
So Janna stopped looking and started The Co-Promotion Club. It was originally for her own referral partners until she launched it to the public in December of 2024.
Turns out other people were hunting for the same experience, and now The Co-Pro Club is the thriving, supportive, effective space she dreamed of finding of way back then.

“The Co-Promotion Club is a total game-changer for networking.
Janna has created such an intentional, thoughtful space where every interaction feels meaningful. I’ve connected with amazing referral partners and collaborators.
What really sets this group apart is the shared mindset: everyone shows up to listen, learn, and genuinely support one another—not just pitch.
Honestly, I wish all networking felt like this.”

“I love the Co-Promotion Club!
The "meeting people" part is very efficient with curated monthly groups. I know that when I go to the meetings, I'll meet a great referral partner (or potentially client).
It’s one of the most effective networking communities I’ve been part of!”

“Joining Janna's Co-Promotion Club has been a game-changer!
The meetings are so well-run and engaging—I actually look forward to them.
What I love most is the chance to make high-quality connections and deepen relationships with people I've already met.
Every single connection I've made through the Co-Pro Club has been valuable, whether as a potential referral partner or simply someone great to know.”

"It feels like we're all here for the benefit of all of us, and not just ourselves.
Since 2020, I've been searching for a space with people who had similar values as me and were as serious as I was about working on their business.
My #1 goal for 2025 was to finally find the exact place. Someone in the Co-Promotion Club sent an email about it and I decided to try it. I loved the way that everyone is here for the same goal: to co-promote.
It's exactly what I've been looking for.”
